What is Clubmark?

The club is currently working towards achieving ECB Clubmark accreditation, which is awarded to cricket clubs by the England and Wales Cricket Board when the cricket club is able to demonstrate that it meets the ECB Clubmark criteria across four areas:

  - Duty of Care and Safeguarding Children;

  - The Cricket Programme the club offers;

  - Sports Equity and Ethics; and

  - and Club Management.

ECB Clubmark is an acknowledgement that we take these issues seriously and that we are striving to provide a high quality and welcoming environment for young participants in cricket.

Clubmark will benefit the Club in the following ways:-

-  Help promote the club to the local community;

-  Help with applying for grant aid;

-  Help to develop coaches and volunteers; and

-  Help with long term planning.

The Clubmark logo can be carried on any club literature and promotional materials which will appeal to local parents, local school teachers, local community groups, funding agencies, local authority sports development teams and commercial sponsors.
